Merci Beaucoup!

I have been humbled in the past few weeks with the lovely emails, comments and awards from my readers.  Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts, yourselves and your time with me here at The Simply Luxurious Life, I am continually reminded that there are a lot of optimistic, hopeful and hardworking people out in this world, and I can’t tell you how reassuring that is.

With that said, I would like to take a moment to thank three beautiful and kind bloggers for bestowing upon me awards.

First of all, to Kiki, author of the cheerful and inspiring blog Life Sunnyside Down, thank you for the Outstanding Blogger Award. I am thrilled and behind in saying so.  My apologies for taking so long to pass this award along.

As per the my instructions I am to share seven things about myself, so here we go:

1. I’m an early bird – waking up at 7 is considered late to me.

2. Hydrangeas are my most coveted flower.

3. I believe cooking is a form of self-expression.

4. My laugh is recognizable from a distance and by name.

5. I support my local wineries. =)

6. A rainy day is one of my biggest treasures.

7. Best evening – good company, fabulous food, perfectly paired wine – viola!

Secondly, Cafe Bellini, thank you for The Fabulous Sugar Doll Blogger Award.  How fun is this?  I am so happy that I have found your blog and will be passing on an award to you in just a few scrolls down in this post.

2. Time with good friends, catching up, laughing and just relaxing.

3.  The contentment of knowing that my home is secure, my future looks bright and my present is very comfortable.

4. Snuggle time and good walks with my dogs.

Lastly, I love Casablanca, and if you haven’t seen the film, you truly must.  So when Lannie of  Charming Frivolity surprised me with the You’re Going Places, Baby award, I was very happy.  Humphrey Bogart’s picture is so iconic.  Anyway, I digress terribly.  Thank you Lannie and per my instructions:
