The program said, “… muses and artists … travelers and settlers … always pushing the boundaries with strength and panache.” The show was entitled “American Legends”. Diane von Furstenberg herself certainly is doing a superb job of recreating a legacy that defines so much of what fashion and style is right now – mystery, femininity and allure. A legend in her own right whether she herself would include her name on the list or not.
Diane von Furstenberg’s empowering spirit, her embracement of femininity while exuding strength and decisiveness has always been inspiring to me. One of the things I always look forward to with each collection she presents is to see what new wrap dress styles she will be treating her customers to in the upcoming season. With a price tag of $300-$500, her knee-length wrap dresses are something I like to treat myself to once a year if I can. The versatility from day to evening is ideal and always flattering. With rich natural hues and gorgeous sequin-laden gowns, this “American Legends” collection certainly deserves an applause.

I enjoyed her show so much! It's fun while still maintaining that subdued factor I always associate with fall. That last dress is my favorite.
