The Weekend . . .

There has always been something intoxicating about this image of Sarah Jessica Parker in her ad for her first perfume Lovely. Maybe it was because she wasn’t looking directly at the camera, or maybe it was the purposely unkempt hair, or the dress, yes, the dress is an eye catcher certainly. Ultimately though, it is the entire image – all of the pieces coming together that has caused it to remain on my inspiration board after nearly six years.

This short month of February, which has always been one of my favorite months, has served something similar to this image – a handful of pieces all coming together to create something of sound substance, yet without one, the effect wouldn’t have been as promising or productive.

I am so thankful for you, my readers.  Your emails, tweets and comments inspiring me daily, and I want to again thank you for your time and loyalty.  The Simply Luxurious Life has become my baby, and while it is gradually growing, I know it wouldn’t be without all of you. Thank you so  much.

As the weekend approaches, I hope you have plans to savor beautiful memories, create promising opportunities and throw your head back in glee-filled laughter.

  2. She has so grown on me in the last few years, not a conventional beauty but she does have amazing style and a certain grace that is very appealing and she always take beautiful and elegant pictures, as underscored above with that lovely picture. Hope you too have a wonderful weekend!
