Diane von Furstenberg – Spring/Summer 2012

With Africa on her mind, Diane von Furstenberg’s Spring 2012 collection was inspired by Africa being the beginning of the world and being well aware of the date upon which she was presenting, she especially wanted to highlight the opportunity to commence with hope for the opportunities that lay ahead.

Ever-so-slightly messy bouffant hairstyles topped each model as they donned her fluid designs and cheerful, soft spring colors. Described by Diane herself as “a man’s life in a woman’s body”, these designs demonstrate what she has always believed and presents with her new fragrance “Diane” this fall – ‘Be the woman you want to be’. In other words dress for the life you want, not the one that has been designed for you (pun not intended).
