Located in the window-lined Designer’s Loft on 31st Street in Manhattan, Daniella Kallmeyer’s Spring 2013 collection was simple, yet involved subtle details and quality materials that spoke of her talents with detail and expert tailoring. Items made of white and black leather – skirts, jackets, shorts, and tops – caught my attention immediately. I especially was drawn to the white leather pencil skirt above (center). As well, soft blues and oranges were involved in prints on swimsuits, dresses and tights. Accessorizing with an occasional pair of sunglasses and each model wearing ankle strap heels, her effortless approach spoke to sensible chic style for day and evening.
Having revealed her first collection in 2010, you can find her clothing and accessories in New York boutiques, as well as online at UrbanOutfitters.com and on her home website DaniellaKallmeyer.com.
