When I dream of traveling to Paris, I also long to fall asleep and awake in an apartment that is a sanctuary where my worries completely evaporate –a sanctuary that is my home away from home. A place to awake with French windows that open to welcome the Parisian morning air and peer over wrought iron balconies to the streets below. A feeling of security, simplicity, easy access to the parts of Paris I wish to enjoy most and the ability to relax without a worry.

Having stayed and worked with two other Parisian vacation rental companies in the past, I was eager to see with my own eyes what makes Haven in Paris’ rentals truly luxurious and a step above the rest.

With Roger as my knowledgeable guide, who serves as one of the greeters for Haven in Paris, I was given a personal tour through three properties located throughout Paris and a owner-guided tour of a fourth apartment in the artistic Marais.  I am so excited to finally show you what I had the opportunity to see with my own eyes.

Needless to say, the next time I travel to Paris, I will be reserving a room with Haven in Paris. And I hope you might consider doing so as well because . . .

Haven in Paris has kindly offered an exclusive discount to The Simply Luxurious Life readers for a limited time on any reservations in Paris and London apartments (offer not valid for Provence, Tuscany) made during the off-season (November 1st – March 15th, excluding holiday dates in Dec/Jan).

Upon making your reservation, in your email request mention “TSLL Haven in Paris post” to receive a 10% discount off the total price. This offer is only good through Sunday August 4th, so start planning! (Please note: Some restrictions may apply and all residences are based on availability.)

While you are dreaming of Paris, let me explain why I recommend for your next accommodation in the City of Light, Haven in Paris . . .

For almost 20 years, the founder of Haven in Paris, Erica Berman, has carefully hand-selected each of the luxury boutique vacation rentals in Paris, Provence, Italy, and London. Paying particular attention to location, charm, amenities, and optimal services tailored to meet client’s needs, each rental must be a luxurious home away from home regardless of size before it can be added to the coveted list of rentals.

What makes Haven in Paris a luxury service for travelers?

  • personal greeter fluent in English and French who is on call throughout the duration of your stay and will be waiting at your apartment when you arrive to give you a full tour of your rental and neighborhood.
  • a detailed guidebook of the apartment, neighborhood and Paris
  • computer in all Paris apartments (except Etoile) and free access to wi-fi
  • unlimited telephone calls in all Paris apartments to United Kingdom, Europe, France, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, China, Taiwan, Singapore, Japan, Israel, Argentina
  • wine and flowers upon arrival
  • fully equipped kitchen

While there is a long list of choices when it comes to apartments to rent in Paris, Erica arranged for four to be opened for my viewing on my last day in Paris last week. Each spoke to a particular type of traveler, so based on what I discovered about each apartment, I have chosen the ideal traveler, made a list of the highlights from my perspective for each location and then shared a few photos from inside.

  1. Wonderful post! Thank you for the great tips! I will definitely consider to rent an apartment rather than a hotel room next time I go to Paris!

  2. It was about time to get such a post from you. Very helpful! Wish you review much more places in Europe in the near future, because I think it suits you very well and your standards are well known by now…

  3. Great post! I’ve tried to reserve apartment #4 in the past but it was already booked. This September, it will be our second time staying with another rental company. It is good to know how each company operates as well as the apartments in your desired neighborhood.
    xoxo, B

  4. These places look really lovely but very expensive if you are on your own…the hotel that I booked for myself this summer cost far less on a per night basis (and it is a 4 star hotel). Then again, an apartment would be good if you plan cooking (I however, do not).

  5. I am currently planning for a trip to Paris with my family. I was looking for an accommodation places in Paris which would be like a home away from home. Such a place where my 62 years old father and 8 years old daughter also can comfortably live for at least 10 days.
“Heaven in Paris” really sounds like a best place which I was looking for. You have given really a best solution for my problem I will try to collect some more information about this place. Your article is really encouraging and helps me a lot. Thanks for it.

  6. This is utterly fabulous. I was thrilled to discover this part of your site tonight. Judging by the comments, this post is a few years old now, so I’m guessing the discount is no longer current. Might time for an update soon? Oh, how I dream of Paris!

  7. Hi Shannon!
