While this 1930 Houston mansion, redecorated by interior designer Bruce Budd, has more square footage than most of us will ever own, what caught my eye was the color palette and effortless balance of bold and simple. A lover of soft blues and neutrals, architecture that is unique and regal, each of the rooms has inspiration we can all consider using in our own homes no matter how small they may be.
The balance in each room is expertly mastered, whether it is the natural flooring and with stunning statement pieces to beautiful blue print wallpaper in the guest bedroom paired with white with blue trimmed linens. Classic and cozy even in such a large space is certainly possible and Architectural Digest reveals it to us all. Enjoy the tour.
