Style Inspiration: Cool & Chic

During the summer months the cool factor (referring to the temperature, not the popularity campaign) is a must-tend-to when selecting an outfit. As I was pulling together this week’s Style Inspiration, I came across a blog on Tumblr that epitomized the idea of cool style (in both senses of the the word, I would argue). LA Cool & Chic is the source for most of the images in today’s post, and I highly recommend following the blog if you appreciate what you find here today. With a love for simplicity, yet quality, each of the outfits most certainly can be defined as chic, and arguably cool as well. Enjoy!

  1. Hi Shannon

just wanted to say that I very much appreciated the picture of a stylish yet casual man in today’s post.

  2. I was reading an article the other day where someone was trying to define chic. Harder to do in words and for me these photos nailed what is exactly the essence. Each look has a unique spot of personal flair. Wonderful curation.

    1. It seems to me that it is easier to look chic when one has a smaller bustline. I get frustrated because most of the pics are of women with a very small bust and I know that if I tried to replicate, it wouldn’t look the same. Maybe some pics of women who are larger than a “B” cup would be fabulous for us more voluptuous ladies. Love, love, love your website!!!!

  3. Kudos for including the chic man. While in Rome this summer it was how the men dressed themselves that I found outstanding……they have certainly got it right…every detail was just perfect, from the length of their blazer sleeves to their slim cut shirts and pants…great inspiration.
