There’s something about repurposing a space into something uniquely unexpected from the original intention that immediately intrigues me. By no means can it be easy, but when it works out, the juxtaposing of ideas and concepts never before thought of often creates the most beautiful and beckoning spaces. Such is the case with this 1880 church found in Australia that was converted into a family home.
With unique details, such as the canoe hoisted upon the rafters in the living room, and the open living space (I so wish I could find a picture of the bathroom, as only a glimpse of the bathtub can be seen in the dining room image), I could easily call this place home. Enjoy the tour.
