Perhaps you are traveling to Australia or perhaps you live Down Under and are in eager need of getting to the country. Well, have I found luxurious accommodations that I believe you might enjoy. Tucked away along the border of Daylesford and Hepburn Springs, Vintage House Daylesford offers guests a country getaway that is not lacking in style or comfort. An 1860’s miners cottage, VHD is completely redesigned and restored whilst working with many of the original features of the home.

From the sliding barn doors in the master bath to the leather dinette bench in the living room, I am dreaming of enjoying a glass of wine while lounging in the original Chesterfield sofa in the lounge room while melting in front of the fire. However, after looking at the rates, it may be awhile before I can rent a night, but still I will be placing it on my list if ever I should take the trek. Click here to book your stay, and feel free to report back. I’ll just have to live vicariously through you for now. 😉

  1. Hi Shannon,
This is a beautiful getaway. But, it is not in England. It is in Australia, in Central Victoria about 40 minutes drive from where I live. Daylesford is a beautiful town surrounded by bush and natural mineral springs such as those at Hepburn Springs. The Wombat forest is always stunning to walk in.
