Looking for Reader Input

Thank you for reading TSLL. The first two posts are complimentary. You have 1 free post view remaining this month.

Become a Member for as little as $4/mo and enjoy unlimited reading of TSLL blog.

For over two years, The Simply Luxurious Life blog has striven to provide content for you, my readers, that is empowering, inspiring, full of ideas and most of all simple to acquire and enjoy.

In order to continue offering you a positive experience each time you stop by The Simply Luxurious Life, I will be revamping and re-organizing the website (keeping the logo and the simply luxurious lady of course).

What I am asking from my readers is input.  What works well on the homepage, what would you like to see tweaked, eliminated or added.  If you don’t want to leave a comment, but would like to share your thoughts, please email me (info@thesimplyluxuriouslife.com).

Ultimately, my goal is to create a user-friendly website that quickly allows you to read the posts you want without the fuss, but still includes a beautiful aesthetic that is what its namesake promises – simply luxurious.

I look forward to hearing from you and thank you again for choosing to stop by and visit The Simply Luxurious Life.  This opportunity wouldn’t be possible without you.

  3. I love your blog! Recently I’ve undergone a block clean-up. I realized I was following too many blogs. I kept yours! I do read it everyday.

Your articles are inspirational and thoughtful. And Thursday “Style Inspiration” is always quite anticipated. I love your picture selections.

I think one small critique I would have is that certain motives/themes/advices seem to be repetitious. I would welcome more variety. But please don’t take it negatively. I do follow it every day and realize I am reading articles written by the same person, hence the outlook can’t change drastically.

    Best of luck!

PS. I also miss your section about particular celebrities’ styles. Would you not reconsider to get back to it? …

One more thing.. Your blog looks really professional! It’s easy to navigate and browse through..

  4. Your blog is wonderful! I like the topics you approach, the organization ideas and the “why not”, and every Thursday I’m looking forward for the “style inspiration”. I hope you will keep all this topics. Personally, I would love a button or a category label that would allow me to select all the “style inspiration” posts to admire the picture you select. I love the pictures you select for all your posts.
I’m happy the “simply luxurious” exists and I wish you all the best!

  5. I just dicovered your Blog and I don’t see, what you have to change. Even for people like me – not native english speakers – it is easy to handle.
But I’m curious about the new Layout and looking forward to new Posts. 🙂

    Greetings from Germany

  6. Hi there! I am such a huge fan! I live in Sydney and though we are thousands of miles apart, your style has always been one that I admire. I particularly love your Style Inspiration entries. The photos are always beautifully picked! I am hoping too that there is a button to click where you can easily scroll down all the Style Inspiration entries for easy viewing. Other than that, your blog is always a breath of fresh air. Looking forward to more inspirations and insights from you. xo

  7. hi i’m a student in nyc and when i found your blog i realized immediately it was everything i was looking for. everything you post from fashion and finance to self-improvement and essentially the philosophies of life is just perfect! one change i would a appreciate is a little better organization of past posts, i know this is vague but i can remember struggling a bit to find topics that i wanted to read about the first few times i navigated your blog. okay, good luck and can’t wait to see the new layout!

  8. i too have just discovered your blog and love the look, layout, features! Keep them just the way they are!

  9. I’ve been reading your blog for some time now and it’s still one of my favourites. Why? It’s beautiful, easy to read, full of inspirational (? spelling..) reading and gives me a boost every time. If it was up to me – Well, don’t change a thing…

  10. I especially love the photos you post! And, how you ask the question..”why not..” It never feels like “you should”..just the suggestion and good follow up information. Your masthead, if that is what it is called is cute…the gal with the red purse and the lettering is also cute….but they do now quite match the idea of “luxurious” as your photos usually do! Just my 2 cents…keep at it, lovely reading.

  11. Hello,

I’ve been following your blog for the past year and I love it! I usually read it from Google Reader, but I’d still like to make a couple of suggestions:
    * When arriving from Google on the website I find the writing a bit small, especially if I’m reading the blog in the evening and I’m having a bit of a harder time concentrating
    * It took me a while before I figured out how to add a comment :)The “Add a comment” link wasn’t available, so I clicked “Reply” below one of the comments and then clicked “Add a comment” (the link had shown up).

Hope this helps and thanks again for the wonderful website. It really brightens up my day.

  12. Hi Shannon, I enjoy your ‘why not’ wisdom series.. its very uplifting and encouraging.. I love the format of your site right now, but we all need an update every now and then, even if its just a trim 🙂 .. I look forward to the updated version of ‘Simply Luxurious’.. x Jean

  13. If I could recommend one thing it would be to include some of your wonderful advice, fashion, etc. for readers who are active-attractive and over 60 yrs.of age.

  14. I love your blog and wait for it every morning! It has been a wonderful source of inspiration and motivation. I love the format, the layout and the beautiful pictures you incorporate. I am particularly fond of your “why not” and “# ways to” . Love the style and fashion issues. My only suggestion would be to add a preview version to the title of your archived articles, if possible. Thank you so much for this wonderful website.

  15. I love your blog dear Shannon for it’s the first one that I click on in the morning with my cup of green tea. I find your blog classic and very elegant in design, a delight for the mind and eyes….love it :))

  16. Hi Shannon – I adore your blog! The content is amazing, and I love the large images you use for your articles.
    My favourite articles are”Why Not…” and “30 Ways To….”
Regarding layout I think your right side bar could be a little less cluttered/more streamlined to allow your wonderful content to pop!
Wishing you much fun with the revamp – can’t wait to see the final result xx

  17. Hi Shannon,
I love your blog, I read it several times a week when I need perking up (I like to save it up so there is lots to look at rather than just one entry).

Your content is fresh and original and inspiring and the pictures are glorious.

Would I change anything, perhaps only the masthead, I find it a bit twee and it doesn’t quite match the content of the

  18. I love your “why nots” please keep them coming and I miss your “cups of tea” posts.

I read your blog daily and I absolutley love it.
