The black biker jacket is going to be popping up in many collections this spring, but it is for good reason. Such a staple can be worn with elegant, feminine apparel as well as with the distressed denim jeans and boots or anything in between. Personally, as you will see in the fourth image, Jennifer Aniston is my inspiration when it comes to this particular staple, and the added bonus of knowing I can wear it in a variety of different ways only solidifies my decision to welcome it into my wardrobe.

With a handful of biker jacket outfit ideas as well as classic flats and trenches, be sure to vote for your favorite look in the comments as the top pick will be the outfit of the week next Thursday. And don’t forget to scroll to the end of today’s post to take a look at this week’s Outfit of the Week that was chosen by readers’ who stopped by last week’s Style Inspiration post – ideal for comfort and simple, chic style during chilly winter months.

  1. The black quilted leather skirt is amazing! I am also a fan of the colorful dress (frame 3). Dressing make for such easy, stylish dressing!

    1. I also love those pricey flats but found a similar pair on Naturalizers website on sale for $23. So I am going to take the plunge and see if they work.

  2. I’m probably in the minority, but a black leather jacket is not something I see as a necessity for ones wardrobe. I just can’t get into the look. I much, much prefer a beautiful blazer or tailored short coat if it’s cold out. I LOVE that leather skirt though!!

  3. I would love to see the photo of the trench coat. Its a classic look reviewed. I always love Jennifer Anistons classic style..

  4. Hmm, love them all, but I really like the 4th one down with the cool, side-zip jacket. It’s so different and edgy, but with a clean look.

  5. Jennifer Annistons belted jeans with black lether jacket and scarf is simple yet luxurious. Love it! I’m thinking of investing in a 60 inch water pearl necklace that can wrap up to four times a la Coco for Valentines Day from Birks Canada.

  6. The trench coat with jeans and beautiful flats is a classic but stylish look I would like to emulate.
I am not as much a fan of black leather jackets, I do have a cropped black one but rarely wear it. I may need to pull it out again after seeing all of these great pics.

  7. The trench coat outfit is one I’m needing for my capsule wardrobe. I adore all the black leather biker jackets. The black quilted leather skirt is very fine in all respects.

  8. I agree with Janet: the trench coat outfit is something that I need for my capsule wardrobe. I’m currently looking for a quality one with a zip out lining so that it could be worn much of the year for many years. I adore the matching flats as well. Could be worn with jeans or in business attire.
