In just a few days, the annual TSLL Fall Shopping Guide will go live here on the blog, and while the leisurely and comfortable pace and clothing of summer is something I delight and indulge in, the fall season as well makes me smile.
After all, time for the sweaters, the warm wool and cashmere scarves, the wellies, the umbrellas, the layers of warmth and of course, the brilliant colors of Mother Nature to walk about in.
Today I wanted to share with you a few trends you will see in Sunday’s TSLL Fall Shopping Guide (right here on TSLL blog), and each will be shopped at various price points so you can peruse directly from the blog, along with links to sales not to miss over the Labor Day weekend. At just a glimpse, you can see that the midi-length is predominant. As well, stripes, plaids, statement suits and luscious textures in all varieties were plentiful on the runways when they debuted last February and March. I cannot wait to share all of my recommended investment trends. Be sure to stop by Sunday September 1st. Does Andie MacDowell looks fabulous above? The epitome of 2019 chic fall attire.
Also, the first episode of the sixth season of The Simple Sophisticate, airing Monday September 2nd will be with my returning guest – Tiffani Rogers, my go-to stylist living and working in New York City. She is going to break down the trends to invest in as well as talk about shopping in NYC (episode #259).
Now to go and peruse our closets to see what we need to update our capsule wardrobes. See you Sunday!
