The Relaxed (Slouch) Boot

Mar 06, 2018

Spring is nearly upon us, but that doesn’t mean we should forget about keeping the boots in our closet up-to-date. The trend of the slouch boot continues to be en vogue and was again on the fall 2018 RTW runways.

As seen above on the streets of Paris this past week during fashion week, the seventies have returned with this casual boot aesthetic but now have a touch of sleek, femininity to welcome this style to the twenty-first century. Whether you wear suede or traditional leather, choose a pointed toe, mid-to knee height and wear with a midi skirt or dress. Voilà! Instant elevated effortless chic.

Below I have shopped a few pairs of boots for you. Some are only available in a few sizes, but at great price reductions for top designers, and others are more widely available in a variety of sizes. Even if you will no longer be wearing boots in the next few months, have confidence that the new upcoming fall season will not be letting go of this trend.

  1. I rocked this look in the 70’s and still love a midi skirt/ dress with boots combination.I gave away my burgundy slouchy boot last year to charity as I bought a new pair of black knee high ones. That should teach me!!
Ah well what goes around comes around. 😊
