If you are someone who prefers to watch movies in the theater, rather than at home, the MoviePass may just be what you need to save your budget. Similar to Netflix for movie theaters, pay fewer than $10/month, download the free app and view movies at 91% of theaters throughout the United States without paying one more cent. I kid you not. You can view one movie a day and only pay $10/month. Basically, if you go to the theater more than once a month, you are saving money. So why not give it a try? The Wall Street Journal shared their thoughts, so be sure to check them out here.
A simple, classic, figure flattering dress in the hue of black is a must-have in the closet. And when Helmut Lang makes such an item, I consider seriously bringing it into my closet. This particular just-below-the-knee dress is one to have for the evening outing you just don’t know what will be taking place, but you know you want to look effortlessly stunning. Add a statement piece of jewelry, beautiful pumps and a loose updo and you are set.
A new item for the summer farmers market shoppers. Made of seagrass and complete with a linen liner that has a drawstring to cinch items in during transport, this tote is large enough to make sure you can bring home some beautiful produce, but not overwhelming to be cumbersome. And it’s less than $50.
A deep breath is necessary today. A wave of gratitude has overwhelmed me as of late as this past week brought unexpected stress and angst. But it was due to an individual’s unexpected actions in response that gave me great pause about a variety of things in my life and a feeling of deep thanksgiving. The incident occurred at school unexpectedly, and needless to say, I was reminded that there are indeed selfless, thoughtful people in this world. And I feel fortunate to call one of them my colleague. With that said, the weekend is one of the sweetest, and it wasn’t planned in the least bit.
In fact, this weekend was scheduled to be about attending a cooking class with my mom, and it still is. We will be learning about seafood over the course of one full day, so I am excited to get into the kitchen and learn something new, all the while spending some time with a very special person in my life. I hope you have a wonderful weekend as well, and below are a handful of posts and one video I thought you might enjoy. Thank you for stopping by and bonne journée!
