Books

~The Laws of Human Nature by Robert Greene

Bestselling author Robert Greene’s new book dives into the laws of the social creatures that humans are and how to understand our emotions, understand how our empathy can lead to deeper insight and much more along the road to a deeper and more enjoyable and successful journey through our lives.

~The Tuscan Child by Rhys Bowen

Released last February to great applause, bestselling author Rhys Bowen brings a story of a 1944 British bomber pilot Hugo Langley who was force to land in German-occupied Tuscany during the war. Finding sanctuary in a monastary as well as love, it came to an end after an irreversible betrayal. Fast forward thirty years to the World War II vet’s funeral when his daughter Joanne discovers an unopened letter addressed to Sofia, the woman whom he met in Tuscany many years ago. The letter leads Joanne back to northern Italy and in so doing begins to help heal her own emotional scars.

~recipe for Chocolate and Hazelnut Praline Impossible Pie by Donna Hay~

The last day of November, and tomorrow the final month of 2018 begins. Wow, November did indeed fly by, and with the snow beginning to fall in Bend, it truly does feel like the holidays.

This weekend will be restful, something I am looking forward to savoring. After finishing up a few small home decor projects these past few weeks, I am ready to snuggle in at home enjoy my efforts.

Be sure to stop by Sunday, December 2nd, when TSLL’s 2018 Holiday Gift Guide will be shared here on the blog, and in the meantime, and I have an armful of posts and articles you might enjoy reading this weekend. Thank you for stopping by and have a wonderful weekend. Bonne journée!
